Clear & Flawless UX Journey
The top priority is ensuring bug and error free browsing. This requires quality assurance activities. I find bugs and errors on most of the websites I work on — including with brands who try to handle this themselves. Often, a fresh expert set of eyes is necessary. Sometimes, an unseen bug is reducing purchase rates by half or more.
There are also UX weaknesses which may not be classified as a bug or error, but are interrupting the user journey and purchase decision process. It's extremely important to resolve all such issues and establish a 'clean' website, exeperience, and interface first so that we can later test for more dynamic improvements without the results being polluted by UX weaknesses and errors.
